Nibble

Our Definition

A nibble is eight bits or half a byte. Nibbles and bytes are most easily read in hexadecimal systems where every byte is represented as two consecutive hexadecimal digits.  This is an easier way to read them than reading nibbles and bytes as binary numbers.

Shave and a haircut ... two bits. So, in this case, it's 4 haircuts and a shave.
