A year ago, I would have never envisioned myself calling long distance to hotels to make sure they offer Wi-Fi! I used to ask, "Do you have tennis courts?"

I wonder about the possibility for city-wide/nation-wide Wi-Fi. How long before we get there?

Does the phrase "wireless fidelity" actually mean anything, or was it only chosen for the way it sounds as Wi-Fi? It makes sense with "Hi-Fi": A high fidelity audio system recreates the audio from its source with less instance of degradation, in practice as in name, it shows a fidelity that is high. Wireless seems like an inappropriate adjective to precede fidelity. Maybe I'm misunderstanindg something?
